In the city is celebrated the flowers fair in August. This is the most important fair in the region and one of the principal in the country. This fair has events as Silleteros Parade, orchids, birds and flowers exhibition, musical stage, old car parade among other cultural events. This fair is very fun and interesting for the residents and foreigners that visit the city.
Another important event is the Colombia Moda (fashion). This is the most important event in the fashion industry in the country. This event brings together great designers, business owners and fashion lovers.
The city is one the cities most visited in Christmas because it is full of Christmas lights. This is an event promoted by EPM (Public Companies of Medellín)
